It's a well known fact that people are living longer today than ever before. Life expectancy has nearly doubled since the early 1900’s. With advanced medical technology, people can live well into their 80s and 90s. But this increased longevity does come with a price. Although people are living longer, they are not necessarily living healthier during those additional years. Care or assistance is often needed for even some of the most basic daily activities. This need for care places an enormous physical and financial strain on care recipients and their loved ones.
Dental cavities are unsightly and painful. After each meal, bacteria begins to build up on the tooth enamel, which can cause holes and severe deterioration. When proper tooth cleaning is not a part of an individual's everyday life, it can put their oral health at risk.
Will this work? Have someone tie a scarf around your eyes and spin you around – no fair peeking. When you and the room stop spinning, hold out your pointing index finger and lower the blindfold. There you go: quick and easy bed placement! What you see is where you sleep.
