Greetings Fellow Swappers!
First Produce Swap
4th & C (at Fourth & Sea restaurant)
Petaluma
June 19, 1:30 pm
Mark your calendar, tell your friends, and bring whatever you have (cut flowers, starts, herb starts (but please done bring a huge branch of rosemary...anyone can get that anywhere), succulent cuttings, eggs, fruit (…cherries, perhaps???), lemons, oranges, veggies, baked goods, etc.) and if you don't have anything to swap come anyway and bring bags to take what you get and then walk down to the farmer's market afterward and see what's good there.
Maybe no one has any mature fruit and veggies yet, but I do have STARTS to swap!! I planted WAY too many golden beets (heirloom seeds from the Seed Bank on Washington and super delicious - see pic of starts taken today….in a couple of weeks they'll be monsters), WAY too much butter lettuce (see pic), too many tomatoes of all varieties (if there is such a thing!), a few more raspberry starts which are the offspring of plants that are producing BIG, delicious fruit this year (see pic), and a variety of sunflowers….mammoth (so much fun!), and many different cutting varieties.
So come to Fourth & Sea at 4th and C in Petaluma at 1:30 on June 19 and let's swap!
And, as if that wasn't enough, Fourth and Sea will also be barbequing super fresh Drakes Bay Oysters from 2pm 'til they run out, so you can also get your fresh seafood fix at the same time. What a day! TGI Summer!
Happy Gardening,
